Bachelor of Applied CounsellingProvisionally registered with NZAC

My professional background began in primary teaching, followed by a facilitation role involving mentoring and coaching teachers, students and families from diverse communities across Auckland. This has included working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and across a wide range of mainstream, special character and faith-based educational settings.

These experiences, and others, made me realise how many people have a story to tell and a need to feel heard and understood. That realisation led me to complete a Bachelor of Applied Counselling, enabling me to work more holistically with people from all walks of life, understand their individual stories, and support them in a way that respects who they are and what matters to them.

At the heart of my counselling practice is a simple belief: people can begin to heal when they feel truly heard.

At Guiding Steps, I offer a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can talk openly about what is happening for you, make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and explore what you would like to be different.

My aim is to work alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, explore new possibilities, and find a way forward towards greater clarity, confidence and wellbeing.

I work with individuals, families, groups and young adults (16+), with appointments available in person or online.
